Positive Interdependence  -  Establishing Group Roles
PROJECT LEADER
  |  Organizes team, keeps group on task and progressing, keeps notes on team decisions, reports to teacher, supports the team
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR  |  Organizes people and resources for visual project, manages production time-line, supports the team
COMMUNITY SERVICE DIRECTOR  |  Organizes people and resources to complete service to the community, gathers evidence of service, supports team

ORAL PRESENTATION DIRECTOR  |  Organizes people and resources needed for oral presentation, Integrates the service and project, supports the team

Individual & Group Accountability - Plan of Action Calendar

Groups must create a plan of action calendar which gives specific deadlines for individual responsibilities.

Group Processing - Self and Peer Reflection

Students will complete a self and peer reflection which evaluates themselves and their group members contributions to the final project (see below).

Social Skills - Group Project

Students will work in teams of 2-4 individuals who will collaborative together on project that combines their individual interests/passions.

Face-to-Face - 20time Project
Students are given one our day out of the week to work together in class.  While they may meet outside of class to further develop and conduct the project, students will always have the opportunity each week to meet face-to-face in class.

Specific Task - Final TEDtalk
Not only must students work together to conduct their project, but they also must collaborate together to give a live presentation which outlines the start, progression, and conclusion of their project.  Throughout each stage, students are given specific instructions expectations via handouts and rubrics.
